Anti-aging creams

Anti-aging creams are predominantly moisturiser-based cosmeceutical skin care products marketed with the promise of making the consumer look younger by reducing, masking or preventing signs of skin aging.

Aging signs are laxity (sagging), rhytids (wrinkles), and photoaging, which also includes erythema (redness), dyspigmentation (brown discolorations), solar elastosis (yellowing), keratoses (abnormal growths), and poor texture. Anti-aging creams may also focus on specific causes of skin aging, such as pollution and over exposure to the sun.

Despite great demand, many anti-aging products and treatments have not been proven to give lasting or major positive effects. One study found that the best performing creams reduced wrinkles by less than 10% over 12 weeks, which is not noticeable to the human eye. Another study found that cheap moisturisers were as effective as high-priced anti-wrinkle creams. However, recent studies at Manchester University showed that some ingredients have an effect.

I've suffered for many years with dry patches on my head, I'm 60years old and bald. some times the patchs form scabs which is also unsightly. I tried everything from Aloevera to head and shoulders. But nothing worked. The someone suggested Argan oil.This oil as changed my life. i put it on daily after I shower. IT WORKS!, it took afew weeks to see results but now it as all but cleared up. I really appreciate Shop Morocco for this incredible oil. For moisturizing my skin. It absorbs quickly and completely leaving my skin soft and smooth, Argan oil is not at all oily or shiny. I specifically use it on my face and neck, and I can see the difference. Also use it sometimes on my cuticles and lips, and carry a tiny bottle with me. Whether you want to use this oil straight, or add it to the skin or hair products you are already using, it is excellent. Malak Bio Argan is a great oil for the under eye area, not so much for my entire face. I have oily, acne prone skin which can be a bit temperamental at times. Hearing so much about Argan oil and how it's great for all skin types including oily skin, I decided to give it a try. Two weeks into using it, I experienced a couple of breakouts. Not sure if it was from the oil or my occasional hormonal breakouts, I stopped for a while and returned back to it a few months later. The same thing happened again. I quit using it for my face and started using it for my under eye area. Keri

Now for my under eyes, I love it. I use a very small amount around my whole entire eye area nightly and by morning the skin around my eyes are so soft and hydrated. It soaks in within minutes of application. Be sure to use a small amount. I have no wrinkles, dark circles, or crows feet, but I do have a few fine lines and since using this oil there has been major improvements. I will continue to use it for preventive measures. This is natural shine in a bottle. I use a brand named Malak, a bio argan oil from Shop Morocco. I use it on my fine hair, mostly a few drops on the dry ends and to give my hair a nice shine. This is such a great alternative for all the chemical serums that are loaded with silicones! I use it both on wet hair (as a leave-in conditioner) and dry hair (as a finishing/smoothing product) and it never makes my hair too oily. Love love love it!. D Smith

There are lots of oils that are great for hair but pure argan is a great option for dry hair ends as it is fairly light yet very effective. I use it overnight on my ends once a week, you only need the tiniest amount so it's great value. Just make sure it's cold pressed if possible and, more importantly, pure; it should smell toasted/nutty. I use a different oil blend on my scalp, again overnight, and remove the lot with a very gentle clarifying shampoo the next morning followed by my usual shampoo and conditioner. My hair looks very shiny, bouncy and split ends are transformed. It's easy to go overboard so use the smallest amount to start off with. This regime has replaced my weekly Aphogee regime now my hair is in great shape. B Hagen
